Topic 1:My first topic I am interested in is arguing about why women should be payed more than men, because of the unfair price gap due to the pink tax. The pink tax is the up charge of everyday items because of a more famine packing and less product per cent. I am very passionate about this topic because the pink tax effects my everyday life. From menstrual products, to a simple pack of pens, I have been paying more for my whole life for needed products. All women need this to end or get higher payments than their male counterparts for payment equality. This will be an essay topic to argue because of the vast amount of experiments done that prove my claim. There is also significant amount of that from the past fifty years that will further my arguments.
Topic 2:My next topic I have chosen to argue about is how children deserve to have rights in custody situations for the sake of the children’s well-being. In most child custody battles, only the two parents/guardians get a say about having contact, or no contact, with their parents/guardians until they are eighteen. This topic is very important to me because I am a child who has been emotionally impacted by not having a say in choosing my environment. Many children are negatively impacted due to having no choice, which in some cases, can be dangerous for their emotional and physical well-being. The vast amount of studies and personal experiences, with this situation, has made this very easy topic to argue. Both pieces of evidence will staple my claim without hesitation, therefore, this is the best topic to make an argumentative essay for me.

The writer establishes her credibility by using examples of famous historical figures that have used rhetoric speech to achieve their own goals. 7.The writers hopes to evoke confidence in their target audience to use rhetorical devices in everyday life. 8.The writer arranged her logical argument from general to specific by first defining what a rhetorical device was, then to specific by defining the three main rhetorical devices, and giving historical examples of their usage. 9.One rhetorical device the writer uses in the video is Enumeratio:to make a point by naming one thing after another of examples that relates to the claim the author is trying to make. This adds to the author's creditability. 10.I can use the rhetorical device of pathos to make my mom pay for my gas, by explaining to her that I can not afford it, and then crying directly after. It would tug on her heart strings |
